
Zofia Łapniewska, PhD in Economics, is an independent researcher and trainer, author of the first articles about gender budgeting in Poland, as well as about the influence of the economic crisis on women and the estimation of the costs of violence. She cooperates with a number of feminist organizations and informal groups working for more equal and ethical societies. She is a lecturer at the Gender Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Areas of scientific interest: feminist economics, sustainable development, poverty.
